My school has about 600 students Pre-k through 4th grades. It is in a rural school district with a middle to upper class demographic. However that is quickly changing. My students this year are mostly high average to gifted. Finding activities to challenge my high performing students and also that keep my lower performing students engaged is difficult. Especially in Science as resources are limited. The STEM activities we have done have been highly successful. Not only are the students on task, they are preparing themselves to compete globally in math and science.
