Starting in the 2023-24 school year, I will be the STEM teacher for grades K-6 at two Title I schools in Anchorage, AK. I am excited to meet and work with 650 aspiring scientists and engineers. I will be collaborating with grade-level teachers to ensure that STEM and the Engineering Design Process are integrated into the core curriculum. I will guide students to effectively work together to solve real-world problems by using their understandings of science and math concepts. This summer I hope to gain materials that will help students observe the world, ask questions, build solutions, and discuss their findings.
