By donating to this project, you are providing an opportunity where my students can explore, design & create their very own learning experiences.
Under the current pressure of standardized testing, not all of my students feel academically successful. However, I believe a student is so much more than a "test score!" In my classroom, I want to provide them with a chance to share their knowledge and creativity beyond a paper & pencil assessment.
Using the design and engineering materials purchased in this project, my students will not only be able to demonstrate their understanding of our curriculum expectations, but also inspire their peers to do the same!
When using hands-on learning experiences, I have witnessed my students make amazing academic and social growth! At times, students who tend to struggle on reading/written based tasks become the "superstars" leading their classmates to learn and understand concepts beyond everyone's expectations (including themselves)!
