"Adequate hydration may improve cognitive function in children and adolescents." - CDC
My students need individual water bottles to stay hydrated in the classroom, resulting in higher brain function. Studies have shown that when your brain is functioning on a full reserve of water, you will be able to think faster, be more focused, and experience greater clarity and creativity.
Having access to water at their desks will help us maximize and capitalize on every learning moment that sparks in our classroom. When we have to take water breaks, someone is missing out on vital learning time. We don't want to waste any of our precious time together.
