Hi, my name is Mrs. Griffith and I have been teaching for 13 years. When you enter my classroom you will see students in their teams working hard at their jobs. Each child is assigned to a team of 4-6 students. Each team is given a job to do while I work with a small group. Every 20 minutes the teams rotate through their jobs and I meet with a new group. While at their jobs the students are doing a variety of things from hands on learning at the sensory table to reading books at the library and using their social skills to play cooperatively at the blocks. They also visit jobs where they work on math and language skills. I have found that the students enjoy learning this way and anticipate what their next job will be.
