The 2022-2023 school year will be my fourth year teaching special education classes at Shakamak! I am so excited to continue working with some of the students I had last year and to meet my incoming Kindergarten friends. I have the privilege of teaching my students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade! It truly is a blessing to build those strong, positive relationships with my students and we become a family. Most of my students are from lower income families in a small town and all are exceptional learners. My students are bright, funny, happy, hardworking and FUN! I work hard to provide them with hands-on learning opportunities and focus on their interests to build skills needed to fill the gaps in their individual learning journeys. Some students see me daily and some students see me just a few times a week, but we always try to make the most out of our time together!
