Welcome to my classroom! I teach 6th grade math and science in Los Angeles, where my students are primarily Black and Brown youth who bring resilience, humor, and brilliance into our learning space every single day. Our school is under-resourced, but our classroom is full of curiosity, collaboration, and joy.
I’m committed to creating a space that is safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous. That means making sure students not only have access to grade-level content, but also feel seen, heard, and supported as they grow. I center culturally responsive teaching and equity in all I do—from designing lessons to setting up our learning environment.
We work hard, think critically, and support one another. I believe my students deserve beautiful, functional, and inspiring materials—because when students feel valued, they rise to the occasion. Every donation helps us build the kind of classroom our students deserve.
