My amazing students come from a community where the majority of students are living at or near the poverty line. These kids come to school as a safe place to brighten their futures. Many have also bravely survived traumatic circumstances, making it a wonder they can even make it to school in the morning. Once they are here, kids are so eager to start the day fresh with great learning. As would go along with struggling to meet daily needs, our dedicated learners have very limited experiences with traditional technology outside of the school setting. When they enter my classroom, they are beyond excited about the learning they are about to encounter.
