My students are a wonderful, and very diverse, group of 3rd graders. They come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, and with a wide range of ability levels. One thing they all share is a love of learning! Reader's and Writer's Workshops allow them all to read at their own levels, strengthen their reading skills and comprehension, share their individual experiences, and become better writers, all of which then improves their overall academics. Accessing literature on computers, researching topics, typing writing projects, and learning coding basics, are motivational and important skills enjoyed by the whole class.

About my class
