My fifth graders are enthusiastic learners with a thirst for knowledge of the world around them. As expected, they work best when they can physically do something and because there are so many of us, we are actively engaged in learning quite often. In science, the more interesting, or gross, things are, the more curious and engaged the students are about what is happening!
