Most of my students don't have access to books at home and by 3rd grade, they are really starting to become independent readers. Replacing the old, damaged items in our library now, will help give the space a fresh look and make it a cozy, inviting place for my students to sit and read. We spend so much of our day focusing on literacy, and I want my students to be excited about and look forward to the times they have to read.Literacy is so important. I want my students to love reading. I want them to be excited about the adventures books can take them on. With your help, I can make that dream a reality for my students.
