My students are preschoolers who live in an urban city. Many of them live in apartments and don't get to spend much time playing outdoors. My school is a wonderful place but there is a lot of concrete and chain link fences, a sort of concrete jungle. I would like my students to have an area that is beautiful and reflects the natural world- a place that they can play, garden, and learn in a more natural setting.
