Pleasant View is located in an urban school district within Rhode Island. Our school provides a safe and caring learning environment for children Pre-K to 5th grade from many different cultural and economic backgrounds. 43% of our school population are children with special needs and more than 90% receive free and reduced lunch. Within our Pre-K classrooms, we have children of all abilities, including students with vision/hearing impairments, physical disabilities, Autism, ADHD, speech delays and emotional disturbances. Our population is extremely diverse and we try our very best to give our students the very best care, love, experiences and education daily. Many of our kids can't play safely outside their homes, but your donation to our project will offer every child the opportunity to play with peers in a safe environment, while growing in all areas of development, which they will utilize throughout their lives.
