My students always look at visuals of famous artwork, they integrate reading with books that relate to our projects, they create stories based off of pictures that they have drawn, they learn how to formulate and share in-depth thoughts about famous artwork, and most importantly we learn how to take this creative thinking and apply it across the curriculum. In our classroom, we don't just find time for art; we make time for art!
