My school is located in a small town on the coast of Maine. I teach a diverse group of 16 first grade students. These students come from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. More than one-third of students in our school come from low-income households. Our school population is also unique because more than 25% of our students are military-connected. We continuously have new students joining our school and other students moving onto different schools.
I love my school! It is the same school I attended from Kindergarten through 4th grade. I am honored to teach alongside some of the same teachers I had the pleasure of learning from. I believe learning is a life-long journey! I aim to make learning engaging, accessible, and fun for students of ALL abilities!
