I am teaching a second grade class in an urban city school with many children who have limited English experiences. Hands on activities are a way to reach all learners and give them the best opportunities to learn. I enjoy my classroom to have lots of things going at the same time -- places for students to work independently or collaboratively, all different kinds of learning taking place. Hopefully everyone feels comfortable in my room. It can become a bit hectic in our room but it is always a lively place to be!
