I want to give my students a chance to read relevant books they might not otherwise read. Reading books is becoming a lost art because this is a media-driven generation.
I want my students to see how important literature still is and how reading an actual book can help them become more successful in life by making those real world connections using critical thinking skills.
I understand that every student will not go to college, but I want them to all be successful. Reading consistently and sharpening their critical thinking skills will help students be successful not only in school, but in life after school.
