Technology is part of our daily life and students need to be more experienced in this area. Our school has one computer lab to share between all of the K-2 students. Sharing a computer lab with so many others can be difficult. My class gets so excited for the 30 minutes of lab time they get each week. During this time they have a set assignment that teaches them how to use a computer. Having these tablets in my classroom would give students a chance to do research and learn by doing online math and reading games. They would also have an opportunity to read more books online that we can't access in our classroom.
