Students will triangulate researched educational needs and subsequent careers acknowledging personal goals as far as character and perseverance acquired through 4th grade standards. My hopes are to show students the "reality" of the world and how schools' systematic steps (grade skills) are designed to build character, perseverance, and knowledge needed to enter the real world. This will impact students significantly because we serve a low income community, a community seemingly destined to failure. Knowledge of the reasons for school "grades" and education to build character and perseverance, knowledge and goodwill will provide encouragement and positivism in their lives. Our classrooms are still missing a lot of resources, yet we have TABLETS which engage students in passive interaction. With tangible in hand research and products, we can truly do some wonderful things!
