I want my students to be comfortable and not shocked from my lack of classroom decor and comfort. I am also lacking books to create a classroom library that my students of all reading levels can use. The flexible seating options, colorful board magnets and name tags, as well as the organization cubbies will help to get my students excited about being in the classroom.
I want students to get excited about coming to class. Having their schedules on the board in bright colors, and a name tag to identify their own personal space, as well as their own cubby to put their own personal items will give them a sense of belonging. I want my students to feel at home in my classroom. This will ensure that they all thrive in a fun and safe environment clear of clutter.
