I work at a school in a very high poverty area. In fact, 100% of our students receive free school breakfasts and lunches. Although our students face a lot of difficulties at home, they come to school ready to learn. I have a classroom full of 22 energetic and excited first graders. Their excitement to learn drives me to do my very best every day.
