My students need easy to learn and hands on activities to foster social/emotional skills during our morning routines. Morning tubs are a way for students to start the day eager to come to school. During this time, they have the opportunity to create, explore and work together with their classmates on various activities. Most importantly, it gives them time to simply PLAY.
When students are able to collaborate and have fun together they are able to make important social connections with their peers which in turn promotes a positive learning environment!
I am asking for materials such as magnetic building tiles, dominoes, pipe cleaners and beads. My students will be able to pull out these materials from their tubs and let their creativity soar! I want my students to be excited to walk in our classroom and interact positively with their peers. Morning tubs are an excellent way to provide my students with these lifelong skills.
