We will use these science activity kits as science stations in my classroom. My students will learn to work independently, to form a hypothesis, and to solve real world problems. These stations will also help close some of the gaps between our current curriculum and the new S.T.E.M. standards.
My students respond well to having a "choice" in what they are learning, and it is certainly more engaging. These materials will help me plan creative lessons. Sometimes students aren't aware of how much science is involved in nearly everything we do, sit on, eat, create, or look at. I plan to change that!
