With COVID guidelines changing things at school this year, safety has changed the way we will participate in indoor recess. Students are not allowed to share toys or play close with others. Therefore, I would like to provide my students with materials that will allow them to enjoy an indoor recess.
This project will provide each student in my classroom with a recess bin that has engaging activities that not only focus on fun but strengthen their creativity and fine motor skills.
The building sets and play dough will be used to spark their creativity and strengthen their fine motor skills. The people and animal figures will be used to boost their imagination. The AlphaBots and number bots will be used to practice their letters and numbers while strengthening their fine motor skills.
