The little learners in our room are an extremely resilient, motivated, and loving group of kindergartners. Our diverse classroom consists of middle to low income children of all races and achievement levels. Some of our students are recent immigrants from refugee camps while others are students who have few opportunities to read outside of school. Our children adore the time they spend in our classroom growing and learning together. We try to instill a love for learning from the first minute of the school year and our kids spend much of the day interacting with friends, books, and hands-on learning manipulatives. For all of our children, especially those whose families struggle to make ends meet, we try to provide them with as much love as we do academic instruction.
