So far this year I have five students in my Self-Contained Special Education classroom. I have one student in Kindergarten, two students in first grade, one student in second grade, and one student in third grade.
All of my students are in our school because they need a different learning environment to be successful.
In our class we learn about math and other subjects in addition to social skills and coping skills. Each student has special needs, and teaching a class with multiple grade levels takes a lot of resources!
