My students are awesome! They are the best, brightest, smartest, most talented, most delightful, most intelligent, most creative and entertaining that you can imagine. We all have our moments but I love them. They attend a High School in NY, where some(20%)choose a vocation and the rest (80%) go on to college. We are in an inner city school district with no real sources of funding. Our poverty rate (those who qualify for free or reduced lunch) is 80%.
Printing is probably the students number one concern. The students need to print typed assignments at school because of a lack of printers/toner at home and there does not seem to be any other options. I believe we should provide that courtesy in class or the library (there are not many working printers there, either). At times there are no working printers in the entire school available for the students.
