My school is in rural Missouri. The school district is small, about 215 children K-12. The classes sizes are 12-23 students with one class per grade level. Seventy-four percent of my class qualifies for free and reduced lunches (63% district wide).
The children from this school are laid back and easy going. We have very few problems that larger schools have. The community is very supportive, but poor. The school is the center of the community. School events are very well attended.
These children deserve the comforts of a comfortable place to read. It's the least I can give them.
