I see all 740 students, Kindergarten through Fifth grade, in my school once a week for 50 minutes. These students express themselves creatively by moving, drawing, painting and other art projects every week.
In addition, my students love art so much that if their art day falls on a holiday they are very disappointed. My school is 48% free and reduce lunch therefore many do not have access to art supplies at home. So, I make every minute count by making sure the students have access to many types of art supplies at school.
