I work with 12 wonderful preschoolers with special needs. They attend a transition preschool classroom which helps to prepare them for kindergarten the following year. Many of my students have language and fine motor skill delays. My students work hard and are very excited about learning. However, they can become easily frustrated when it becomes difficult for them to communicate through verbal and written communication. When frustrations occur it can be difficult finding something that is of high interest and motivating for the students. I have found that using technology really motivates them and gives them that extra push when they feel overwhelmed and want to give up.
