I am currently a Grade 2 teacher in a public school in Brooklyn, New York. I am back in second grade after having taught other grades and subjects the past few years. I love for my students to explore and create. I am bringing a lot of what I learned as a STEM teacher into my classroom. I have been finding a lot of my materials in the dollar store and recycling materials. I would like to fill the room with materials that will allow the students to explore and learn. I also want to give my students the basic needs so that they can become strong, independent learners.
