My early childhood classroom is composed of 34 amazing bilingual explorers. This year we have adopted the "Explorer" theme in our classroom in order to promote inquiry, exploration, and hands on learning. As a new teacher, my classroom lacks many of the materials that support the overall development of young learners.
Our school district has a high number of children living in poverty and represents a diverse population of students from different backgrounds. Our school has a large number of English Language Learners and students that receive free or reduced priced school lunch.
