Thank you for your interest in supporting my classroom. My name is Mrs. Hartmann. I teach science and English Language Learners at the FAIR School Downtown. The FAIR School is a fine arts magnet high school. My students come from a wide range of ethnic, religious backgrounds and socio-economic backgrounds from all over Minneapolis and the near suburbs. The FAIR School is an urban magnet school that receives Title I funding because approximately 60% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch due to their economic status. While the students come from many different backgrounds, they all share the love of the fine arts.
In addition to teaching, I am the advisor for FAIR's Green Team and Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA). My students are very passionate about making their school, the downtown community, and their home neighborhoods a cleaner, safer, greener place.
