My kindergarten students do not have workbooks, textbooks, or writing journals. I have one copy of all these books, so I reproduce these on copy paper for my students. However, each student is allotted less than 1 ream of paper a year. My kindergarten students are spending their academic careers in a high-poverty public school with few resources, making it difficult to experience the same joys of learning you may have had. With the budget cuts, even copy paper has become a hot commodity because there just is not enough to go around. By providing the copy paper for each student, you will make it possible for my students learn through various activities. You will also make it possible for me to provide daily classwork as well as nightly homework.
