Children need to have a variety of books and a lot of them. They need books at their reading level, which will allow them to HOLD a book in their own hands and read it, practice it, talk about it and learn the most essential skill we all rely on, reading. I want my kids to love reading, have a lot of practice, and be successful and I have chosen books for many levels and other materials to support their phonics, phonemic awareness and reading overall. These are all books, letters, and activities to give them a good start with their reading and learning. I chose only literacy based items so that my students can get the best start possible in their learning journey!
