Our classroom in centered in a community that is poverty stricken and highly affected by drug use and unemployment. Many of the students in our school are affected by this and my classroom is no different.These adverse conditions have created havoc in our students daily lives and some are even placed in foster care or with relatives to cope. This creates a stressful home life as families struggle to cope. Despite these situations, my students come to school everyday ready to learn. They are energetic and excited about learning, they want to explore everything they can. We do all we can to provide them with a safe and loving learning environment to help give them a fantastic foundation for a great educational career.
About my class
