I am going into my second year of teaching and have been asked to switch from Math/ Science to ELA/Writing! I am so excited to gain this new experience! My classroom is a blank slate and I need help with obtaining organizational supplies for my students to have a successful year.
I will have the chance to teach two classrooms every day, for a total of 36 students. A large majority of these students come from a low socioeconomic background. The school itself has a population where over 90% of its students qualify for free or reduced lunch. A large percentage of my students are also Esol learners.
