Our children's social and emotional development is of utmost importance. As the school counselor of my elementary school, I believe that all children need a safe and caring space to share their emotions. Something that will make this space more comfortable for children is a comfy counseling couch! Children will have an easier time expressing and processing emotions when they are in a comfortable and safe environment. That's why a couch in our counseling space is so important. I want students to feel at home when they enter my room. This will help us work through any problem the child may be facing, big or small. I appreciate any help you can offer to create a warm place for our elementary students to work on their social and emotional needs.

About my class
