I teach kindergarten students, at a small school, that come from a variety of backgrounds. My goal is to teach my STARS in a variety of ways so that I may meet each of their individual learning needs. Hands on centers will only enrich my students with reinforcement of the objectives taught through lessons. Kindergarten should be a fun and innovative experience. Taking away worksheets and adding more hands on activities will give my students more success in mastering the common core objectives that are required to be taught.
