My students need opportunities to see their own greatness. By having the ability to scan in their work and compile it into a book that they actually wrote and illustrated, they will see their potential to become an author or illustrator. By using the scanner, I'll be able to upload their work onto the computer, then be able to print and bind their work. I will also be able to upload their work onto an iPad so they can create an iMovie using their own writings and illustrations. Reading is such an important skill to learn. This project will be a fun and engaging method to help them build confidence in themselves. This will also be a great way for them to share their creations with others.
