Last year, some of my students complained about the selection of books in my library. I am working on increasing the variety of books so that all students will find books that pique their interest, while also focusing on finding books that will go along with our curriculum. The social studies and math books will enhance our curriculum; therefore, increasing student achievement. The coding books are great STEAM books. I would love to start using some coding in class and these books will help me develop some STEAM activities for the students. Those students who are interested in technology and coding will enjoy reading these books. Organization of the class library is key to helping students find the books that interest them quickly. The book bins will allow me to organize my library by topic in order for students to find the type of book they are looking for. It will also help the students put the books back in the library in the correct place.
