Our school is a Title I school in southwest Denver with over 90% living in poverty. I work with amazing learners and who work hard. They never stop exploring new concepts and ideas despite learning, cognitive, speech, social/emotional, and behavioral disabilities. In my classroom we understand that everyone learns differently and we embrace many different modalities to help learn something new. As their teacher my number one goal is to help them feel safe, happy, and comfortable in their learning environment and have the tools to access new information.
