My students are a great bunch of kids. Many live below the poverty line but continue to exceed the expectations that society has placed on them having come from the inner-city. Eighty percent of my students are English Language Learners and need exposure to everyday vocabulary that will help them succeed in the classroom. Forty percent of my students are struggling readers, partly due to learning disabilities and other special needs. My students are eager learners that just need more resources.
