My students feel empowered when given choices in their education. Flexible seating has many benefits in the classroom--choice, movement, collaboration, and a sense of community. During work time, students will have the opportunity to find seating that will work best for them.
Wobble chairs and yoga balls are the most popular seating choices in my classroom. Having more of these options available would be wonderful and allow more students to have their first choice in seating.
I have been amazed at the level of engagement in my classroom since I started incorporating flexible seating. These new pieces would be loved by so many students!
