I plan to keep these materials in a "multi sensory library" so that teachers and special educators can sign them out to use them with their struggling students.
This project will serve the students in special education by providing them with the materials they need to be successful.
For example: In order to support students struggling with letter and sound recognition, I will have letter building puzzles, letter mats that use playdoh to form letters and lacing with letter blocks to form words. To support math, I will use number mats that use playdoh to form numbers, peg number boards and shape sorting activities.
