I have very high expectations for my students. Many of them begin the school year behind. It is my goal to have all students reading and performing at grade level or beyond by the end of the school year. This is accomplished by having high expectations and encouraging students to be the best.
My students come from various economic backgrounds! They are very energetic and have many different learning styles. It is very important to me to do everything that I can to reach every student. Research shows that there are many benefits and increased learning when movement is incorporated into daily lessons. Our school is a Title I school, and many students have very little support at home. I work hard to make the most of their time with me, making sure that they are focused and on task.
