In my classroom, I believe it is valuable to teach students how to be independent learners through student-led activities. We do lots of collaborative work where students are given the opportunity to work with and learn from their peers before turning in their own individual work. We set goals and work towards them on a daily basis. I make sure students are aware of what needs to happen to become successful life-long learners.
