We are request a set of five Chromebooks that will allow my students the ability to showcase their mathematical knowledge in creative and innovative ways, taking them off of the monotonous paper and pencil. Independent math projects are the key in opening their eyes to a world of math outside of their classroom and its curriculum. Differentiation is one of the key components to creating that buy in especially when a skill or concept is difficult to grasp. Having access to a Chromebook would bring to life some of those abstract mathematical concepts that so often hold math students back. The intention would be the opposite, propel them forward and create a sense of confidence for all math learners.
