Hi!
My name is Dorothy Kirkland. I am currently a special education teacher at Allen Elementary in Columbus, GA. I work with high risk, multicultural, low income students grades K-5 with special education needs ranging from Autism to ADHD. I frequently pull students to my classroom for literacy, writing, grammar, and mathematics. At any given time during the school day, I might have up to 12 students with special needs in my classroom working on between 3 and 4 different reading grade/age levels. Having the iPads would be a tremendous help in completing my centers. Centers will help me to provide a proper individualized education to each one of my students.
