When a student opens a book, they open a whole new world of information that can educate, provide clarity, escape, humor, reveal ideas and challenge their thought processes. These books have been chosen for our high school students with these goals in mind.
By choosing to support this project through your donation, you are uncovering new ideas and opening my students eyes to experiences that they may never experience firsthand. We are requesting books. Our titles include The Child Thief, The Tattooist of Auschwitz: A Novel, A Long Walk to Water: Based on a True Story and many more.
Our students come from the beautiful Wind River area in Wyoming where the abundant wildlife well exceeds the population of the state. Our students mostly belong to the Northern Arapahoe and Shoshone Native American Tribes and attend school on the local reservation.
